By using CrossMention you agree to what follows. It is short on purpose.

What the service is

CrossMention is a members-only exchange where B2B companies place mentions and links to each other inside their own published content. Membership is a flat monthly fee. Credits are an internal accounting unit, not currency, not a security, and they have no cash value.

What you agree to do

Add only a domain you own or publish to. Place mentions inside real content on a real page, in a way that makes editorial sense to a reader. Do not place links in footers, sidebars, dead directory pages, or pages built only to hold links. Do not remove a verified placement while the requesting member's membership is active.

Credits

Credits are earned when a placement is verified and spent when a mention is requested. A cancelled or declined request is refunded in full. Credits expire when a membership ends and are never refundable in money.

Suspension

We may suspend an account that games verification, sells credits, claims a domain it does not control, or places links that would harm other members' sites. Suspension ends the membership without a refund of the current period.

No ranking promise

Search engines decide what a link is worth. We do not promise rankings, traffic, or that any particular mention will be indexed.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the membership fees you paid in the three months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email to the address on your account before they take effect.
